Often, we can get 'stuck' in certain nervous system states, which can often feel like running at 10000000% and then collapsing, with nothing left to give (that's sympathic and dorsal states).
So if the goal isn't to live in ventral vagal state all the time, then exactly what do we mean when we say a 'healthy' nervous system?
